In 2000 PenOp's assets were purchased by Communication Intelligence. As a direct result of this purchase existing PenOp product ceased to exist and software maintenance was limited to those customers who signed a software maintenance agreement. For those customers who's software maintenance has expired there will not be a renewal, nor will there be any further product development for PenOp product range

eCom ceased as distributor for PenOp and became a distributor for CIC.
