eCom only supports eSignature Products that are sold by eCom, or application development and services that have been completed by our engineers, where a support contract has been signed, and or where service warranty is valid.
Where a customer has purchased product from an authorised eCom reseller and the Reseller is authorised to provide support then the Reseller should be the first call for support.
eCom only supports applications sold by a fully authorised reseller.
Where a customer has installed fully licensed product, eCom will support all installations of its technology. If the customer has installed un licensed product, then eCom will not support installation of our software, and will not warrant that our software will function.
eCom is not responsible for installations where Virus Software and or other security interfears with our components, and or where software versions installed are not authentic, and or versions that are unsupported by eCom.
eCom does not have liability at any time to re engineer our software as soon as a new OS and or Application version is released by a vendor.
Where a customer has elected to purchase direct support from eCom they will be provided with a unique ID and have access to the Support Centre.
Supported Signing Devices.
eCom only supports the following Signing Devices and Drivers. Any Device or Driver not on this list will require testing and or custom development at the users expense. All of the following devices have been passed for forensic quality data capture, we take no responsibility for the quality of data capture when our technology is not used with one of the approved signing devices below.

* Any digital signing device that provides software drivers complying with the Wintab 1.1 specification (for example Wacom), however all are subject to testing and approval by our engineers.
* Any Tablet PC who provides software drivers that use and comply with the HID specification for digitisers, however all are subject to testing and approval by our engineers.
Minimum Requirements for non ePad devices used as signing device
Touch screen. 254 points per inch or more (10 points per millimeter). 100 points per second sample rate recommended.
While certain Palm Devices can be used as Signing Devices eCom does not recommend or support use of Palm devices that do not meet the above criteria.

Adobe Acrobat 7.0
Sign It® for Acrobat® 6.1 is now released for use with Adobe Acrobat 7.0, Reader, Adobe Document Server, PRO and STD, and IE6.0 Plug in.
Note: You must use Adobe Document Server if you wish to sign documents with Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Reader.
Note: If you wish to use the Reader, Document Server or STD you will need to create an Adobe Acrobat form and pre build the Signature Fields.
Only Adobe Acrobat PRO will allow you to create Adobe Acrobat documents from the print command and create signatures as required.
Note: Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and 5.5 are NOT supported any more and Sign it EX has been discontinued.

The current version of Sign It® for Acrobat® is backwards compatable from 9.0.

Note: Office 98 and Office 2000 are not supported anymore.

Sign it for 2005/2006/2007/2008 AutoCAD is now released.
Note: Support for AutoCAD 2009/2010 will be included Q2 2009, however it WILL NOT support Chinese eSeal. Only Autocad 2005+ can support Chinese eSeal.

Support and Upgrade Maintenance
All of our products do not include free support and software upgrade maintenance, this is an additional cost at time of purchase and renewable annually. . Support and upgrade maintenance while "current" will entitle you to minor version upgrades free, but not major version upgrades, and support hours via Fax, Email, Phone, Online chat.
It does not mean if a new OS or application is released we will prioritise a release.
Support Only
Support can be paid Ad Hoc, or pre paid blocks for support incident registrations can be purchased.
If a new version is released then a upgrade fee of 50% of the purchase price will be applicable on purchase.
